Angie’s Tortilla Soup

 

1 ½ oz Jalapenos (adjust according to your taste)

¼ tsp Garlic, minced

2 Tbs Oil

2 lbs Stew meat (chicken or pork work great too)

2 14oz Tomatoes, chopped

1 10oz Rotel Tomatoes w/green chilies

1 10oz Beef broth

1 10 ¾ oz Chicken broth

1 10 ¾ oz Tomato soup

1 ½ 10 ¾ oz cans of water

1 tsp Cumin, ground

1 tsp Chili powder

1 tsp salt

½ tsp Lemon pepper

2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 ½ Tbs Tabasco sauce (adjust according to your taste)

4-6 Tortillas torn into 1-2 inch squares

Cheddar cheese and sour cream

 

Sauté first four ingredients in large kettle

 

Add remaining ingredients except tortillas and cheese and sour cream.

 

Simmer for 50 minutes.  Add tortillas and cook for 10 minutes.

 
Serve with cheddar cheese and sour cream.
